EXCLUSIVE Donald Trump lists the questions CNN must ask Kamala Harris in her first interview as the Democratic candidate
When she finally sits for her first interview since becoming the Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris must explain why she has flip-flopped on so many policies, why she has done nothing to secure the southern border while in power, and why she needs a human shield alongside her, according to one avid viewer of television news, former President Donald J. Trump.
Trump sat down with DailyMail.com in the palatial living room of his Mar-a-Lago headquarters on Wednesday.
He discussed everything from the assassination attempt that almost killed him to the policies he will implement on his first day in office. But first he laid out the questions that CNN‘s Dana Bash must ask the vice president in their interview.
At the top of his list: What is she hiding from?
‘Why isn’t it live? It’s not a live interview,’ he said. ‘It’s an interview that’s going to be taped and then edited and then put out. So that’s not even an interview.

‘Then she’s doing it with her vice president sitting there. So she’s not very smart. When they ask her a question that she can’t answer, she’ll just look at him: “You answer it.”‘
Trump has kept up the pressure on Harris with a steady stream of interviews to highlight how she has avoided similar encounters with the media.
Meanwhile she has enjoyed a bumper fundraising haul and reams of positive media coverage since President Joe Biden announced he was ending his reelection campaign.
But Republicans cried foul as the number of days without a proper on-the-record interview hit 38 on Wednesday.
That changes Thursday when she sits down with CNN’s Bash, with her running mate Tim Walz alongside her.
Trump said she had used the time to reinvent herself, distancing herself from unpopular policies and copying his, such as ending tax on tips.
‘I think it’s crazy. She’s gone months without talking to the press,’ he said.
‘She’s not talking to anybody. She is copying—they would call it flip flopping on everything she’s believed in for the last 20 years.
‘She now says, well, she’ll frack and well, she’ll do walls, but she doesn’t mean it because she’s a Marxist.’
Harris will appear alongside her running mate Tim Walz. They seen her during a campaign stop at Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Georgia, on Wednesday
The interview will be conducted by CNN Dana Bash and will be broadcast Thursday evening
The Harris campaign has distanced herself from her previous opposition to hydraulic fracking, a method used to extract oil and gas from deep rock formations, and which is a big employer in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania.
And she now wants to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a border wall, a Trump project that she once called ‘unAmerican’ and a ‘stupid use of money.’
‘Whether she was a czar or just in charge of the border, she was in charge of the worst border in history. I want to know what happened. Why was she doing that?’ he asked.
‘Then I want to know why is she now all of a sudden, two days ago, she said, No, I’d like to build a wall. After all, she was against the wall for 20 years. She fought me on the wall. She was one of the people that fought.’
If that was the policy she wanted, she could close the border right now, he added.
Trump spoke to DailyMail.com in the lavishly decorated living room at Mar-a-Lago
‘They had three and a half years to do it. They never did it,’ he said.
That, added Trump, was an indicator that his opponent was not being sincere in her new-found political positions.
‘She doesn’t believe in any of this stuff, which tells you, from a character standpoint, it’s terrible’ he said.
‘I mean, she’s so dishonest.’
The CNN interview will be recorded in Georgia on Thursday afternoon and will be shown at 9pm Eastern time.
Bash has interviewed Harris twice since she became vice president.
